MÓNICA A. CERPA ZÚÑIGA (chair)
Mónica A. Cerpa Zúñiga joined Teatro Público de Cleveland (TPC) in 2014. She serves as Chair of the TPC Leadership Committee and was recently seen performing at Cleveland Public Theatre as Dolores Avara in TPC’s winter production, A Xmas Cuento Remix. Other TPC Stage credits: Vuelo del Ocean (Pandemonium 2014); A Recipe para la Vida (2014); Doña Carmella (Station Hope 2015); Mi Nombre Es (Pan @ TCG 2015); Yo Sueño of Home (Pandemonium 2015); ¿Dónde Está My Home? (2015); Uz, El Pueblo (2016); ¡CELEBRANDO 3 YEARS! (2016); and ¡OBRAS EN EVOLUCIÓN! A Festival of New Play Readings (2017, 2018). Mónica directed American Nightmare (¡OBRAS EN EVOLUCIÓN! A Festival of New Play Readings [2018]), La Gringuita (¡OBRAS EN EVOLUCIÓN! A Festival of New Play Readings [2017]), Mariel’s List (for Pandemonium 2016); and served as Associate Director for La Gringa (Spanish) (2018) and Assistant Stage Manager for Mi Muñequita (2015). Mónica works at NAMI as the Hispanic Multicultural Outreach Specialist. She serves on the Board of Directors for Neighborhood Family Practice, is a member of the Minority Advisory Board of the Cleveland Alzheimer’s Center, and serves as Secretary for the Northeast Ohio Association for Hispanic Health. She is the Dance Instructor for Mi Pueblo Culture Camp. Mónica was born in Perú and came to Cleveland in 1996.
Alisha m. Caraballo (vice chair)
Alisha M. Caraballo joined Teatro Público de Cleveland in 2016. Her TPC stage credits include ¡CELEBRANDO 3 YEARS! (2016), Labio de Liebre (The Lip of the Hare) (2017), ¡OBRAS EN EVOLUCIÓN! A Festival of New Play Readings (2017, 2018), and En el Tiempo de las Mariposas / In the Time of the Butterflies (2018). She has attended every TPC play since it began in 2013 and participated in multiple storytelling workshops. She was born in Cleveland, raised in Puerto Rico, and has lived in Cleveland for the last 14 years. She works in Human Resources at Greater Regional Transit Authority, is the former Vice President of the Young Latino Network, and is a Cleveland Bridge Builders alum. Alisha loves to support and attend local events and try new restaurants in the Cleveland area.

Ernesto Luna Camargo is a founding member of Teatro Público de Cleveland and a lead artist. TPC Stage credits: Cuando Cierras Your Eyes (2013); Estrella del Norte (Station Hope 2014); Vuelo del Ocean (Pandemonium 2014); A Recipe para la Vida (2014); Doña Carmella (Station Hope 2015); Mi Nombre Es (Pan @ TCG 2015); Yo Sueño of Home (Pandemonium 2015); ¿Dónde Está My Home? (2015); Uz, El Pueblo (2016); Mariel’s List (Pandemonium 2016); ¡CELEBRANDO 3 YEARS! (2016); Labio de Liebre (The Lip of the Hare) (2017); ¡OBRAS EN EVOLUCIÓN! A Festival of New Play Readings (2017); En el Tiempo de las Mariposas / In the Time of the Butterflies (2018); and Entity (actor) and The Tulpa (director) as part of ¡OBRAS EN EVOLUCIÓN! A Festival of New Play Readings (2018). Other credits include: Sexual Fantasy, a short play written by Ernesto and performed with Dante Fernando Larzabal at CPT’s Pandemonium 2013. Ernesto also participated in the award winning film, 50 Fathers, which was presented in the Cleveland International Film Festival (2015). He performed in Whisper’s Thread (Pandemonium 2018), directed by Raymond Bobgan and Faye Hargate. He lives in Cleveland Heights. He is a baker, writer, actor, costumer, and make-up artist, specializing in horror costumes. He is from a family of artists and has two sisters. He studied theatre and film in Uruguay and participated as an extra in multiple film productions and also studied at Ohio University. He is from Montevideo, Uruguay and has lived in the US since 2002.
Lilly corona moreno
Lilly Corona Moreno joined Teatro Público de Cleveland in 2014. TPC Stage credits: Vuelo del Ocean (Pandemonium 2014), Mi Nombre Es (TCG 2015), White Rabbit Red Rabbit (2015), Yo Sueño of Home (Pandemonium 2015), Mariel’s List (Pandemonium 2016), Labio de Liebre (The Lip of the Hare) (2017), ¡OBRAS EN EVOLUCIÓN! A Festival of New Play Readings (2017), and Voces / Voices (working title) (Entry Point 2019). Lilly was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She is married to Alejandro Moreno, one of the founding members of Teatro Público de Cleveland. They have two children, Cruz and Citlali Moreno. Currently, Lilly is a Spanish teacher in North Ridgeville, Ohio. She is the Director of Grupo Tepehuani Nelli, the Mexican folkloric dance group she founded in 1999. The group performs pre-Hispanic / Aztec dances and dances representing the different regions of Mexico. She has been dancing / performing since childhood. Lilly enjoys recording voice overs and is a former radio announcer for the show La Preferida at WCSB, 89.3 F.M.
Letitia Lopez
Letitia Lopez is a founding member of Teatro Publico de Cleveland and serves on the TPC Advisory Committee. TPC Stage credits: Cuando Cierras Your Eyes (2013), Estrella del Norte (2014), A Recipe para la Vida (2014), Johanna: Facing Forward (2015), ¿Dónde Está My Home? (2015), Mariel’s List (2016), ¡Celebrando 3 Years! (2016), and America Yo Soy (2017). She is the director of Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center, a family-oriented center dedicated to transforming lives by preserving, educating, and promoting Latino heritage through the teaching and practice of the visual, performing and literary arts. She has four children and lives in Garfield Heights with her husband and youngest son. Her parents are from Puerto Rico and she was born and raised in Cleveland.
GIL PEÑA
Gil Peña joined Teatro Público de Cleveland in 2014. TPC Stage Credits: Mi Muñequita (2015); Johanna: Facing Forward (2015); Yo Sueño of Home (Pandemonium 2015); ¿Dónde Está My Home? (2015); Uz, El Pueblo (2016); America Yo Soy (Station Hope 2017); ¡OBRAS EN EVOLUCIÓN! A Festival of New Play Readings (2017, 2018); En el Tiempo de las Mariposas / In the Time of the Butterflies (2018); La Gringa (Spanish) (2019); and A Xmas Cuento Remix (2019). Gil performed in Whisper’s Thread, directed by Raymond Bobgan and Faye Hargate (Pandemonium 2018). He served as artistic collaborator and choreographic advisor on A Recipe para la Vida (2014). Gil studied modern jazz and traditional dances. He was a recipient of Individual Artistic Grant by the Hispanic Business Center through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture. Gil serves on Teatro Público de Cleveland’s Leadership Committee.
Blanca iris GARCÍA RIVERA SALVA
Blanca Iris García Rivera Salva is a founding member of Teatro Público de Cleveland (TPC), a local Latino theatre company whose work reflects the artistic goals, interests, and ideals of its members, and serves on the TPC Leadership Committee. Blanca’s TPC acting credits include Cuando Cierras Your Eyes (2013); A Recipe para la Vida (2014); Johanna: Facing Forward (2015); Yo Sueño of Home (Pandemonium 2015); ¿Dónde Está My Home? Anthony “Tonyfresh” velez
Anthony “TonyFresh” Velez is a dancer, DJ, MC, actor, and music producer. Tony has worked with many local and major companies including the Cleveland Cavaliers Scream Team, So You Think You Can Dance, Carnival Cruise Lines, Progressive Arts Alliance, Cleveland Public Theatre, Cleveland Museum of Art, Arts Applause, Dance Cleveland, Cleveland Play House’s Native Gardens (Ensemble), a NIKE Commercial, The Panther Dancer, The Bloodless Jungle, and more.
